Named Jewellery

My name is Mathilde, and I’ve always loved fashion and jewellery, but above all the meaning held in the smallest details.

A few years ago, someone close to me gave me a personalised necklace that I hardly ever took off. Before long, people around me were asking where I’d found it. Sadly, there was no way of tracing the brand that had made it.

So I set out on a simple quest: to find a workshop able to make personalised jewellery to the standard I had in mind.

I eventually found the partners I still work with today. For three years now, we have developed every design side by side.

Every collection is imagined by me and my team, with one intention: elegant, timeless jewellery that carries meaning.

What began as a single necklace I treasured has become a brand worn today by thousands of women around the world.

Making jewellery you wear not simply because it is beautiful, but because it tells a story.

The most beautiful pieces are not always the most precious. They are the ones carrying the name, the initials, the date or the memory of someone you will never forget.

I never imagined Named would come to mean so much in so many women’s lives. Seeing that some wear their necklace every single day, that it has become part of who they are, is the finest compliment I could receive.

I will never forget the young woman who stopped me in the street and asked me: “Are you Named?” That moment is engraved on me for good.
